My Story

A retired respiratory therapist, Michael grew up in Texas, where he and his wife currently reside. He enjoys spending time with family, cooking, playing guitar, and reading. He can be found in zero gravity or on the patio, working on a manuscript or watching videos of their grandsons, Asher and Hazel. Though his favorite genre to read is science fiction, he enjoys writing Christian fiction most.

Michael’s novels combine Biblical characters and events with imagined people and situations. “I want to engage people who have never read the Bible or Christians who have difficulty relating to it. I attempt to do that using modern language and phrases to show that each person in scripture, like all of us, struggled with their faith, emotions, and family.”

Michael is a Christian fiction author whose books defy readers’ expectations and touch on a variety of genres, including science-fiction, fantasy, and suspense. He is the author of The Journeys of the Remnant series and the Fisher of Men series.

Michael participates in the Amazon Influencer program, which helps authors connect with readers on Amazon, allowing them to share their favorite books with recommendations for other readers.

Although based on biblical stories, his work is written for a modern audience. Critics have lauded his work for making abstract, less prominent figures in the bible more fully realized and empathetic. Additionally, Michael’s characters are often described as complex and unique.
